The Admiral is situated near the city centre but just a but out 9ie a few yards) off the main busle of the city. The bar itself has 2 areas to it; Upstairs is the traditional but cool main pub, dopwnstairs is the "Hold" a trendy (though small and dark) area where bands and club nights are held for the younger (and all ages) crowd. The upstairs bar looks traditional with a long bar and a general narrowish feel to it, it has wooden floors. dark leather seats, bar stools and brass fittings everything you wnat from a good bar. Ber, spitits selection is good and resonably priced. Clientel is mixed witha lot of younger folk when a club night is on but it was a really nice relaxing atmosphere when I went. Bar staff very nice a loos clean. Ample seating/table but can get busy (not tried the food)
