Pub was built by the North Midland Railway in 1842 for its employees. It closed in 1974 and was derelict until 1987 when it was renovated and reopened. There are 5 rooms all decorated and furnished in keeping with its history and many articles remembering its past adorn the walls. It has its own brewery on site and serves their beers and many others, a total of 16.It features in the Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 things to do in your lifetime - go to the Brunswick! You cant get better than that!
