Really good bar - during the early session from opening time through until mid afternoon there are a lot of regulars sitting at the same places, come lunchtime you can get passers by and students having a feed - standard bar food but served well at resonable cost, however come early evening and then in to late session the pub really comes to life, can be 6 deep at the bar - but its a huge 3 sided bar with lots of staff - lots of good guest beers and fair selection of wines, part of group of pubs now, think its Mitchill & Butler. Also good place to see a few local celebrities and all in all very enjoyable
