I have been a regular at the court jester for some years, and the only reason I do not attend daily anymore is because I moved. Still after 5 years of moving I can walk into the court jester on my own and feel as if I never left. The landlords always make me feel welcome and many faces are the same as they were ten years ago. If there are any events taking place they are sure to let me know. Always good to catch up with old faces. I lived above the Court Jester for a time and therefore ate there daily. I never had cause to complain about the food. Even eating there daily I did not get bored, there was so much choice and the menu regulally changed. The landlords have always strived to give an excellent service and have always choose their staff well. I would recommend the Court Jester to anyone who enjoys a warm friendly atmosphere, good food, good service and the feel of a local pub in the centre of town.
