I visited the 'Maypole Inn' in Derby 25th April 2014 and was so delighted and surprised as to how much the new landlord and landlady have done to improve this pub and how friendly and welcoming Adam and Christy are. It looks soo much better, cleaner and a great atmosphere. They do live events, reggae nights, themed nights, jam sessions (they have like 7 guitars, drums, keyboard, didgeridoo and more!), karaoke, free pool and snacks on Tuesdays, quiz nights, mario cart challenges on the big screen, student nights, offer nights and soo much more! they have a pool table, darts board, quiz machine, fruity and juke box. The prices are really cheap and great quality! Am making the 'Maypole Inn' my new local (even though I live 30 minute walk away). You MUST check it out :-)
