This was a great local pub until about a year ago. With friendly good humoured staff and customers. It used to serve good food and had a juke box containing good music.

I went there for the first time in a year this evening and what a change for the worst.

There were people outside smoking dope, others begging for money and the car park had people washing cars for a fiver. Not somewhere I would ever go back to. The Calthorpe Arms is now tatty inside, no toilet paper in the ladies toilet and to call it a pub is just a joke. The atmosphere inside the pub itself was anything but friendly. I couldn't wait to leave.
