Great pub - unusual setting ---but who was the big guy with the bandana/goatee being photgraphed behing the bar early evening yesterday. He seemed familiar

Cheap decent food 2 meals for £5 and 2-1 pizzas all day every every day. £1.99 full breakfast

Came for a week to Brighton seriously recommend this pub so cheap 1.25 how can you go wrong. Great atmosphear what a night!

Visited this amazing converted church pub today what an amazing pub, was rather cheap considering the portions of food you get. Seems to be some bad reviews on the service, but the young guy that was working was rather helpfull. Very welcoming if you ask me! Go and have a look even if you don't stay for food/drink

from working here for a while i can tell you why the people experienced the problems.
unfortunately the system used in regards to the food means food is cooked in the order of which it comes through the system. The long wait is probably down to the kitchen staff. However, how people can complain when they are getting two meals for a fiver is beyond me, tight if you ask me.
Bar staff are only rude when the customer is rude, fair and simple.
awesome weekday with students, just as good at the weekends. best place in brighton to watch sport, or predrink before moving onto brightons big clubs.

I Love the Font...
Whenever i am in Brighton i will head there whether it be for lunch drinks or a night out.
Food is reasonable drinks are too.and atmosphere fri and sat nights is brilliant.

Having already wasted an hour and a half not getting my lunch and eventually having to ask for a refund, I will be keeping this brief.
DO NOT GO THERE!!!
There was one member of bar staff in particular who went out of his way to be rude and continued to talk to his friends in between visits to the kitchen to collect customers food regardless of the fact that most had been waiting over an hour.

Large 2 storey bar in the south laines. Screens all over the place showing sports, in fact you can sit on a stools upstairs with personal screens.
