Travelled from Manchester to your wonderful city. On our first night two more mature women we will call ourselves. We've turned from ourHotel on Princes Street to find your pub. On entering it looked. Very busy. We ventured upstairs to be. Met by a very pleasant young woman who found us a table for two. The service was excellent and food portions very large. The atmosphere was very good witha wide range of ages but no fowl language or intimidation.
Thank you for helping. To make our trip an enjoyable one. We would return again.

Very rough with rude staff and a terrible atmosphere, I won't be back and do not recommend to other tourists.

I visited the Auld Hundred with two friends all of us of senior years, Saturday 7th January. The atmosphere was spoilt by the bouncer who stood menacingly inside the door. The bar staff and pub itself were okay. Last orders found us being pushed in a threatening way by the bouncer to drink up. He could see that we only had a drop of beer in our glasses and would be finished in a few minutes but this thug still challenged us. We left but it's understandable how trouble starts in such places.
