WOW! totally different pub to what it used to be its a shame how mud sticks with the reputation of a pub as its nice now

This place has changed beyond recognition, new management and staff have really breathed life back into the place. Food is fantastic and cheap and the staff are friendly and helpful. we had a brilliant Christmas and new year here as they even did a children's party! if you visited in rougher times its definitely worth another go!

had a brill new year, have not used the pub for years because of the reputation, will now be a regular, food is great as well as the lovely friendly staff, you must try it....

what a diffrence a year makes,after all the problems,the stanmer as come through as a shining star,

mainly a food pub,with the rough element gone it is a joy to go in and have a great time ,great value and the newmanagers cannot do enough for you.

definatly 5 star.
