The Oriental Seems to have been in Glasgow (a side street near Argyle St Rail station)for years, yet until last month (Sept 2010) I had never been in it as I had the impression it was a bit of a "dodgey place" - from my visit it certainly wasn't it was a pretty decent pub, nice selection of beers (it's a Belhaven pub) well priced for the City centre & the locals seemed friendly enough, as were bar staff. A nice clean pub, small but clean toilets. Not a lot of seating and what there is,is a bit cramped but ok for as small bar. It has TVs, and on the Friday we popped in there was live music (2 blokes signing Frank Ifield songs!??! etc but they were good)- A good pub to pop into for a pint or to wait till your mates etc.
