The Approach is well known for its live music which is on more or less every night of the week other than sundays when they have stand up comedy on. Johnny Vegas and Ed Byrne have appeared here. Sport is shown on the big screens and plasmas.

Good quality food is served all day everyday and the approach is warm, inviting and stylish.

For such a large bar the approach manages to stand out from the rest of the bars in the city centre with its diverse entertainment and quality service.
