Whilst some Wetherspoons aren't known for there great quality, this branch reaches a new low for the chain. It's hard to explain the issues faced without sounding too negative, for there are some positives, for example the staff. The staff who are friendly and are happy to help, seem to be just about remaining afloat. On many occasions there are too few staff to run the bar smoothly and effectively, leading to great disruption and excruciatingly long waits at the bar. This is not helped by the managers who appear to have have an exaggerated self-opinion of themselves and the bar they run and are less then helpful. Especially if you dare to make the slightly remark on the terrible conditions they create in the pub. On top of this this i find the bar to be very unclean. This pub has great potential. It is a shame that this potential is not being fulfilled.
