The pub has had a massive refurbishment done recently, and what a difference its made! Its been beautifully done, its now a cosy food pub you would be proud to call your local. There is a new menu with 5 star quality food being served. The pubs aim is to be known as a cask ale and pie pub and its certainly gaining a reputation around these parts! The pies are spectacular, very unique and with a great variety, I had the game pie and my wife had the veggie pie, absolutely delicious food, we will definitely be trying the rest of the menu in time! I am a cask ale drinker and there are now 6 different ales to choose from so im very pleased about that too. They also boast a huge whiskey selection, which cant be a bad thing!Professional friendly staff, great atmosphere and even better food and drink. Would highly recommend a visit.

a very cosy pub with great food and good 2 for 10 meal offers. I had the rose and crown burger which i struggled to finish, it was HUGE !! The staff were very friendly and assertive. There was a decent variety of products behind the bar although they only had 2 cask ales. I choose the leeds pale ale which was one of the best pints i had all night.

If your looking for good quality and value food and beer, sports, pool table or dart board the rose and crown is a winner !
