My daughter 3 year old grandson and I, visisted The Woodman. The menu was varied & staff confirmed any of the meals could be supplied for a child.My grandson chose scampi, my daughter cheese burger & I had gammon steak & egg, served with peas & chips. All the food was delicious.Chips are freshly prepared not frozen. My grandson had heard the words apple pie and custard so that was quickly ordered. A request for an adult portion with three spoons was no problem. A huge portion of pie swimming in custard arrived. We had a couple of mouthfuls s each and my grandson polished off the rest - it was lovely and we had to stop him running his fingers round the plate to get all the custard!We will definitely be going back. A couple sat at a table near us with their two grandchildren were equally satisfied with their meals. The Woodman does curry takeaways and there was a constant stream of people coming in for them.
