This bar saved my potentially disastrous bday. After having been told by another bar down the road that there was a mix up and I actually didn’t have a reserved area for me and my 20 friends and that they couldn’t do anything about it, please come another time and we'll seat you but tonight we can't so you just have to prop up the bar! I nearly lost the plot and decided to call it a night. But, having walked round the block a few times to calm down, we stumbled across The Peacock and had such a good night. They managed to sort an area for us last minute, a round of free shots as it was my bday and had almost lost the will to live and were the friendliest I’ve ever come across. DJ was brilliant playing fun 80’s and the punters were really up for it. A huge thanks for saving the night. I shall be writing a not so nice review about the other bar.

Came here for the 80's club for a friend's birthday. Great staff and great to have our own reserved area at no extra charge. Do book in advance though! DJ's played a medley of 80's and 90's and really had the place on its feet. They have Burlesque entertainment before which we could not make but we'll be back there next month for another friend's birthday. Oh and must add its actually nice to come to a venue where the door staff greet you like you're their friend and not treat you like a criminal. Makes a change.

I am still so excited after such a brilliant brilliant birthday bash at The Peacock :-) We got to make the most amazing cocktails in the lesson we had pre booked. Thanks to the friendly and professional team for not laughing at my efforts but I now have a new found admiration for mixologists! More yummy cocktails later (and they really are good - West End - pah!!) we stayed behind for the food and Burlesque shows - Miss Kitty you are divine! I want to be you! 80's is my favourite favourite era so the DJ on later just hit the spot. Loved it. The outside could do with a lick of paint or two but that doesn't detract from the fun that awaits you inside. So if you're looking for a fun night out with a dollop of cheese this is the place to go
