I have not been here for some time but it has got no better. Staff are too casual, beer is expensive compared to other local pubs and the worst thing I found was my change stuck to the bar when it was left there by the barmaid and so did my paper! I also made the mistake of sitting near the gents toilet which resulted in a blast of urine flavoured air each time the door opened. NOT a pub to which I will return.

I use this pub evenings on the way home but it has gone downhill since the little welsh manager, Melvin, got sacked or left under a cloud. The staff seem to vary a great deal in service and speed and the beer price has risen seriously out of line with inflation. Can't speak for the ladies toilet but the gents is very smelly and in need of a good clean. I keep going there in the hope things will improve but recently all the curtains have disapeared offering no privacy from outside. I was told by the barman this was how the new K&Q was going to look. If you fancy a pint there is a decent selection of real ales and a huge top shelf of whiskies. It might come to pass that the pub will get better than it is now but I will not hold my breath.
