We're due to visit The Chequers 28th November 2010 on a pilgrimage to what is now The White Stuff The High. It used to be Carters Fishmongers for over 100 years. Since these people are my direct ancestors I was hoping for at least a passable review somewhere of the Pub at the back, which they all must've spent time in. Has anyone got something encouraging to say?
