Went there the other night for some food and a few drinks. Had tried previously and was rammed. This time around, a Thursday night, got a table easily whilst still being a decent amount of people in.

The decor, atmosphere, toilets etc all good. The pub has been redone well, has a nice city to feel to it (albeit the edge of the city).

Had a minor shock at the price of Peroni: £4.10 a pint. Not as if Peroni is anything special, can be bought for bugger all from the offy. So advised to stick to Amstel!

The food is pretty expensive for pub. Starts at about £11 up to £19 or so. This is comparable to the Ginger Pig just down the road which is ambitious as the food in the Ginger Pig, in my opinion, is probably the best pub food in Brighton & Hove.

The food was fairly good by pub standards. Although I left feeling the whole experience was overpriced for what it was. £13 for my fish dish and £4.20 a pint wasn't entirely justified.

Probably a good place to go if you got kids.
