We started our pub crawl at the Kite Inn. It's a little backstreet pub just out of Oxford City Centre, and has a really nice atmosphere - they clearly liked the fact that on a Saturday lunchtime, a group of almost 20 people were coming there!

They had a beer and cider festival on - from what I was told by those who tried them it was a mixed bag. Food was really good, and they had a good beer garden.
