The Barley Mow is an exceptional pub. Here ends the review. Seriously – whether on the weekend, or in the evening after work, the Mow completely outclasses many of the other pubs in Brighton. Large, friendly and welcoming, it delivers stunning food, a great array of beers and lagers and it sells tobacco and related paraphernalia, penny sweets and dog treats. There are about a hundred different board games on offer and a beer garden with heaters that is covered in bad weather and gloriously open to the sunshine when good. It is a great place to come and relax, or chat or indeed, to start or continue a crawl. Highly recommended. Go there.
