9 pubs in 11 hours, plus dinner Thameside at Le Cote (GREAT!) with wine!! Not bad for two chix from the states... And we got a "tee shirt" to prove it! Can pick up a Dick Whittington Ale Trail map at www.londonaletrail.co.uk and "earn" a T shirt or free pint. We found this out 3 pubs into our crawl over Labor Day weekend. Instead of the "hop on hop off" bus; we did the "hop on, hop off the bar stool" self guided historical London sight seeing pub crawl! Also visited Halfway to Heaven, The Ship and The Shovel (OUR FAVORITE) and where the great bartender gave us the scoop on the pub crawl map (which we picked up at The Princess of Wales, our second favorite!!).
