This has to be the best real ale pub in Bradford with the Fighting Cock on Preston Street coming a close second.
Fantastic authentic interior listed on CAMRA's Heritage Register including original bar, gas lanters and prints of rock 'n' roll and rhythm 'n' blues stars. Four different rooms including tap room, function room, pool table room and snug. Cellar bar that often hosts various groups. Two beer gardens, one under cover.
And of course the beer - at least four or five real ales on from various micro-breweries with pumps changing names every week. Can't fault the quality of what is served, its price or the friendliness of the staff.
A wonderful atmosphere and a unique experience. Get yourself down there!!
