What a great night we had on friday "Karaoke Halloween Party" wow nice friendly busy pub, fantastic atmosphere great service! A+++ better than those plastic corporate hell holes in the city centre! keep up the good work guys :-) ooh ps the karaoke host was very HOT!!

I have been a regular at the court jester for some years, and the only reason I do not attend daily anymore is because I moved. Still after 5 years of moving I can walk into the court jester on my own and feel as if I never left. The landlords always make me feel welcome and many faces are the same as they were ten years ago. If there are any events taking place they are sure to let me know. Always good to catch up with old faces. I lived above the Court Jester for a time and therefore ate there daily. I never had cause to complain about the food. Even eating there daily I did not get bored, there was so much choice and the menu regulally changed. The landlords have always strived to give an excellent service and have always choose their staff well. I would recommend the Court Jester to anyone who enjoys a warm friendly atmosphere, good food, good service and the feel of a local pub in the centre of town.

I have been going to the Court Jester for a few years now and am very happy with the levels of service I receive. The food tastes great, is very resonably priced and never takes too long to arrive.

The owners are friendly and have a great sense of humour. I would recommend this pub to anyone.

The Court Jester is a great pub but I'm always left disappointed that my sandwiches don't magically and instantly appear from thin air. It's almost as if they make them fresh. How weird.

Anyway, great pub, great people, great fun. Well worth a visit if you prefer your pubs run by a human being as opposed to a board of directors and about 6000 shareholders. Not many of these gems left. Take advantage.

i absoloutly love the court jester, always have. the food is fantastic, quick service, well presented and the owner and bar staff? absoloutly lovely and welcoming, and good for your typical pub banter! like a family to all the regulars!

The Court Jester is a very friendly place to go, staff and regular customers made us new customers feel very welcome. I now consider myself a regular! Food has always been excellent.

The Court Jester is a friendly pub with excellent food at amazingly good prices. The atmosphere is lovely and it boasts the best set of toilets on the south coast, in my humble opinion.

I would recommend it to all of my family and friends and suggest to all that you experience the good service and value for money yourself!
