The Dyke was taken over a year or 2 ago and is now fairly pleasant and busy inside. Before it was awful.

There is a decent selection of beers to choose from but unfortunately it now does the same food as the Stoneham (http://www.barcrawl.co.uk/pubreview.aspx?PubID=11574) on Portland road. Basically just pizza with a few pasta options (I have a rule of never eating pasta in a pub!). The pizza isn't great either. I've eaten in both pubs and - for the money - there is much better on offer around Brighton & Hove. Although to be fair not really all that near either of these pubs.

Apart from the menu being poor the pub itself is alright.
