Have heard many positive things about this pub. A good range of real ales and speciality bottled beers, enthusiastic staff and pleasant decor.

On my first visit, just the other day, I was greeted by an unbearable stench of bleach, which was all pervasive. It was early evening and there was already a good vibe about the place, but hardly the way to appreciate and savour their delicious wares. Will give it another try soon, hoping that they have found a less odorous cleaning product.

Recently changed from being the Florist to The Craft Beer Co and is a fantastic pub. Wonderful selection of beers.....almost too many to choose from. Knowledgeable and friendly bar staff (many of whom moved with the landlady from another Brighton pub I believe) I would thoroughly recommend this place.

This has been the Craft Beer pub since July 2012, so reviews below are for when it was The Florist or the PV. Lovely selection of beers on tap, and a very large selection of bottled beers, although they seem to be pretty pricey. Best to stick to the pumps.

Pub Decor is good and has some of the nicest toilets in brighton but the pub has no atmosphere and they always seam to have "just" run out of half of their lagers. The barman is cute and friendly and the only reason to go back.

Nice pub and a good location for sneaking off for a quick pint if forced to go to the department stores down Western Road.
