But the little over weight Hitler on the door thinking he is really important has put me and my fellow students write off,

please try and employ someone who would go with the bar atmosphere

this little over weight doorman should be in front of a cave banging rocks together.

Having re-opened two and a half years ago, the place is now managed properly. They have door staff on all the time and there is never any trouble. It is mostly a student bar (because of the area and the very cheap prices). It is a great wee place to hang out, watch football, and get a few drinks in before going clubbing. The staff there are lovely and friendly too, which always helps.

This bar has just been closed because of bad management. The local council closed it for four months. Police had been called 35 times in a nine month period and in May there was a riot with football casuals. You make your own mind up.

Bar Salsa is a small friendly bar, with welcoming staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. There is very little room to swing a cat but do not let that put you off popping in for one.It is a stop gap for a drink, as it is situated between the 3 sisters and a cluster of bars in the grassmarket. Alan the manager, and his staff are the best, instant service, no hanging about, choking on a drink.Try one of their shots, variety of flavours.Drinks start at 99p, who else can compete with prices like that these days?.There is seating outside for you to enjoy the atmosphere of old edinburgh, and catch a view of the passing talent.Enjoy....
