good pub refurbished with pine floor shandalier lights

live music and comfortable big pub to enjoy a meal or a drink in

freindly bar staff and nice pleasant couple that run the pub to speak to

all in all good pub in the centre of edinburgh close to waverly and bus station

I visited this bar last week while in Edinburgh. I didn't know it had such a good reputation for food as I just happened upon it. I spent a full week in Edinburgh and I had the best meal and service by far in this bar. The chef is brilliant and the service was so relaxed and friendly. What a fantastic place. Believe me you won't be disappointed.

This is a fantastic pub. The food is absolutely amazing. I read a review about this place and thought I'd give it a try as the reviews are excellent. Well I can now see why. I had the char grilled steak and my hubby had the tempura prawns. It was by far the best meal I have had in years. I will be back as soon as I can. If you are looking for a gastro pub with really great food then believe me this pub foots the bill. Thanks again Jenny and Sean
