We called in on the promise of Timothy Taylors Landlord and Golden Pippen (CamRA Guide).... but were disappionted. On a Saturday, the best on offer was two real ales; Black Cat and Mary Jane, both guests (The Pippin had run out four days earlier, apparently).

Both available beers were in good order... but, more importantly, the bar staff were helpful and friendly; offering tasters of the two available beers and advice on where to find other good real ale pubs.

Overall; a little disappointing. But we will still go back (due to the helpfulness and friendliness) as it's a good early starting point to an enjoyable day.

WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT FROM PUB? IT HAS 4 CASK ALES 1 OF WHICH IS BLACK SHEEP (PRINCE WAS FIRST PUB IN LEEDS TO SELL) WIDE SELECTION OF LARGER AND CIDER, WINES, SOFT DRINKS AND BAR SNACKS. THE NEW LANDLORD IS FANTASTIC, THERE ARE SOME WONDERFULL STAFF. THERE ALSO DOING FOOD IN NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

YOU REALLY DO WANT TO TRY THIS NEWLY REFURBED PUB FOR YOUR SELF, IT HAS HAD A COMPLETE UDATE NO HORRID THINGS LIKE THAT FISH.
