The only way to describe the Jolly Sailor is despicable.

Firstly we were seated for a family meal beside a large table of about 20 revellers, who didn't shut up and monopolised the waiting staff.

Also having planned my meal from the online menu when I arrived things had all changed.

The wait between Starter and Main was around an hour.

When my main arrived, I had ordered the sea bass, it was one tiny fillet, on a bed of salad with very little else. That was £15.50. With sea bass whole retailing at £3 that is one hell of a mark up.

The rest of the mains were very small portions and not very good value for money.

I would not recommend anyone go to this establishment for food it is awful, if you are a yachty in need of a swift half then perfect, but steer well clear if you are after decent food or value for money
