I thought I would try a Sunday roast which is a new addition to the pub ,very pleasantly surprised plenty on the plate and delicious ,served quickly by friendly staff .overall great atmosphere even though football was on ,used to have a bad name glad to see management got it under control and lovely new decor .well done

Went to the hove park tavern didn't know it had changed hands and been refurbished ,what a difference ,bar staff polite ,it's clean and friendly ,went next day for lunch delicious home cooked and plenty of it for the price ,the place definitely needs relaunching as would not have known it was any different going by the outside .

I visited the hove park tavern to see a band last week and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and staff (I had not gone in there for a year )went for lunch the next day and had a good home cooked meal ,reasonably priced .the new managers have made a world of difference

I went to the hove park tavern for other night and couldn't believe the change! It's under new management and has been freshly decorated outside. Interior is a hundred times cleaner and the garden area is lovely to sit in the sun! The food looks delicious and all home cooked. Brilliant to have our local back!!

I recently visited this pub, and found it to be a very warm and friendly place. Reasonably priced drinks and clean throughout. The service was 1st class. I will definately visit the Hove park tavern again.

The worst pub in hove, food was disgusting, atmosphere was awful, it smelt and was run down, full of thugs and mugs. Would not recommend this dive to anyone.. Stay clear, save your money and take it somewhere worth spending it. In addition the landlady and landlord and staff had serious attitude problems.. Disgraceful : (

on visiting this pub the other evening i was made to wait ages for a drink the staff behind the bar chose to ignore me and serve some piss head who alreay had a drink.the pub stank of piss like this grey haired old bastard.i dont recommend anyone drink there as the beer is overpriced and watered down.a very unfreindly place full of yobs,i sincerely recommend a pub up the road called the nevill.nice and clean freindly staff and you are made welcome.the hove park pub should be closed down for health reasons....what a shithole

The Hove Park Tavern is a run down, awful, poorly managed pub and it needs to be torn down!

The service in there is bollocks, the staff are slow and rude and very accusing.

From past experiences from this place, I would recommend you all go and drink on a park bench as you'll get no excitement or joy out of this shithole.

Oh and last of all, whatever you do DONT go into the toilets because you will get thrown out for takin a piss.
