The Albert on lytham road Blackpool has closed it's doors because the DPS was selling alcohol to children under the age of 18 years. The pub wasn't a good place to drink anyway so it for the best with any luck they could turn this building into flats.

The Albert is a place for getting drunk and loud music at weekends, The owners have no consideration for the local community. Over the last few years there have been several police interventions, the local health and safety inspectors have had to make damming reports. It's had a bad reputation for drugs usage.

Because of the reputation it has got, My family will never use this place.

I have been in the Albert a few time's while holidaying in Blackpool. The landlady is a disgrace and seem's more intent on getting drunk rather than serve her customer's.The young lad behind the bar is often run off his feet trying to serve every body while she just sits there.Need's some one who can run a pub instead of drinking it dry.
