The Variety Bar is a hidden gem among the more student like bars of Suachiehall Steet. The clientel is very mixed from old punters to office workers to young trendies on the way to a club/concert and all sem to get on very well. Nice lighting (subdued) with amazing art deco surroundings that have seen better days but look the part. Strangely there's a giant fish tank in the middle of the bar but it looks right. A good selection of drinks are available, really nice barstaff and a great atmoshpere. I also probably has the best music in Glasgow everything from Sinatra to Boiwie ot the latest hits.
