The Star has only recently come back around – it was previously owned by a completely different Brewery. It’s not great, but it’s functional for what it offers. It is actually spacious inside and friendly, with tvs, unsure if Sky’d up, but there are definitely tvs there. The food – not sure, they used to be one of the only pubs around that did a (good) ploughmans, but alas, these days have gone. I would only ever drink here if a) already pissed or b) doing a pub crawl.
