Amateur service and food was dodgy. Did'nt appreciate having to scream at my fellow diners over square sounds played through tiny speakers being driven to the max. Very poor food service . I wish I had gone for the pork belly as the ribeye steak was the worst most fatty steak served up to me in years. The home made chips looked good but were'nt cooked. Ordered the Bordeaux wine and after the food and wine was paid for were informed only one steak and no Bordeaux. No refund was offered. Why should they care ? They already had my money!

I and a group of friends visited the mesmerist recently and had a strange experience with dinner. Two of our group chose the Pork belly which was a dry and not how you would expect it to be cooked. One member of the group couldn't eat it and mentioned this and said he would not pay as it wasn't very good. The waitress took the meal away. The Assistant manager (lily) then came and gave us a lecture on how good the food was and if we ppoured more sauce over it it would then be edible. My friend reiterated his desire not to pay for the meal as it wasn't to standard. This we thought was the end of the matter, however Lily then brought the plate back and plonked it in front of my friend and proceded to pick the meat apart in front of him. Very strange, unhygienic behaviour.

The other food was very nice so no complaints there, just beware before you complain if anything wrong as you will experience some very bizarre and very rude behaviour from Lily!
