Went here 2 weeks ago, got there and the first thing i was asked was to remove my hat (not a good start in my books), spoke to the door team on my way in and asked why there were soooo many rules (ie no hats, smoking outside of the view of the front door, no swearing, no tracksuits, no stag/hen partys, no attitude torwards staff) and despite being twice my size and being very busy the head doorman took a couple of minutes to explain to me on why these rules where in place, once in side i understood why,no chavs, no drunk old pervy men, nice/classy women, no large groups of people playing loud stupid party games. It was nice, defantly doesnt deserve the 'Wetherspoons' bad branding, big well done to the management and door staff team for working hard to make it such a refreshing place to drink in Brighton
