Its about time someone made an effort with The Angel. John & Jason are nice blokes who just like to people enjoying themselves. We had a fab Easter Sunday making bonnets (all supplied by J & J) The atmosphere was friendly, the entertainment funny ( Trudy Styles ) and the company good!

Hoping people start venturing back into this quiet little part of Brighton!

Last night was fantastic, a great night enjoyed by one and all

Trudi and her amazing painted fingernails were on form and

her special guests the Cast from Rent gave a stunning showcase of some of the standards from the production.

If you didn’t know Trudi’s on every Friday (8.30 - 9.00 ish start ) and Rent is on at The Old Market in Hove 2 March - 7 March 2.30pm/7.30pm

Since the 29th July 2008, the Angel has come under new management. With a quick cosmetice redo it opened for Pride weekend on 2nd August 2008. Since the end of pride, it has been undergoing a massive refurb, with new colours, plush decor, new stock/beers and furniture being bought. It opened for a pre celebration on the 17the August for the birthday of one of the owners, where unbeknownst to him, his boyfirned had secretly hired a minister for a commitment ceremony. Since then the rest of the refurb has been taking place and is due to be finished soon.

With outragously cheap drinks, this fancy bar, 100yards from the seafront on Montpelier road,, is like the flyers say. "Brighton's best kept secret".
