my first and only experience of this pub was last sunday 27th july (my birthday). on a rare occasion that i secured my brother and his wife to have lunch with myself and my partner, and it being my birthday, the four of us decided to have a sunday roast in this nice looking pub.
we entered and found a table easily as it was not busy, strange i thought for the time of the day 13:30 apprx.
after a refreshing and much needed drink i went to the bar to order four roasts, two chicken, a pork and a lamb.
noticing the menu only offerred a yorkshire pudding with the beef i asked for a yorkshire with each meal. a very abrupt no was offerred from the barperson and when questioned a more abrupt no was again offerred. having run my own bar/restaurant i found this attitude completely unnacceptable and i certainly would have been pleased to give my customers this 'nothing' request.
suffice to say we moved on to another pub who were more than happy to provide a traditional roast dinner.
