What a find. My first time in Brighton and we struck gold. The ham egg and chips was to do die for. The wife had the best Chile she has ever had away from home. Good beer and very friendly staff. We will go back. Loved it loved it. All to often good pubs do not last, well long life to this one.

This is now a privately owned pub, eccentrically decorated with interesting chandeliers, worth going for decorating tips. The roast Sunday lunch was very good. The new bar serves a good selection of lagers and real ales. Not being brewery owned it is also one of the least expensive pubs in Brighton.
