Whilst this pub is not the greatest - it really is a dark, atmospheric, grubby pub - the good selection of real ales and the beer 'garden' make for all you need.
Food is served directly from across the street from the newly refurbished Nasim's Restaurant / café and is pretty good fayre.
The live music is an absolute must and there are plenty of other boozers around to get a crawl happening in Kemptown.
The TV is 32", or so and digital, no Sky.
It's friendly, relaxed and has cubby holes that you can hide away in and read.
Love it.
