Europa has now closed - all very sudden (there was no mention - as at 2 Oct 2010- of it reopening and locals I spoken were taken aback by its closure) perhaps the petrol fumes just got too much for customers!

A city centre bar directly outside Queen Street station handy to pop into if you want a pint whilst waiting for a train (but better in the station or the Junction Bar next door). A bit of a lads bar (IMHO) inside is nice enough with ample seating & areas to put your pint if not sitting - Beer / spirits selection is ok (nothing fantastic).Loos are clean with the annoying/interesting foreign language tapes telling u to wash your hads etc. The food is ok but not great and a little expensive for what you get. Has a large outside tabled area to drink, eat, smoke & watch TV if you want, just be aware its next to busy main road so expect a mouthful of diesel from the No 27 to Easterhouse at regular intervals. Pretty underwhelmed by this place but folk like it - not great after dark when the "mad lads" take over.
