Another of my favourite haunts when in Glasgow. The bar itself is nice with lots of wine/champagne bottle nicely stored on the walls, it has nice mirrors, chandeliers and cosy booths & tables - at night they light the table candles (in old wine bottles) which give the place a nice atmosphere . It has a great selection of wine & Champagne, nice beers, spirits & bar snacks (olives butterbeans etc)& nice coffee. Staff are really friendly & prompt to serve (and cute). Food is pretty good but not sure if I would advice eating on Friday/Sat after 4pm as it is very busy. The downside is that it's a wine/cocktail bar and is EXPENSIVE even for beer & vodka etc & the seating area upstairs isn't great & can be very hot (although theres usually enough space downstairs. But the upsides (for me) outweight the downs as it's a great place with vaired clientele (altho' mostly trency 40+ suites).
