I love bar. It's not everyone's cup of tea as it's an old man pub, but the bar is beautiful, the staff are friendly, the drink is ridiculously cheap and you always get a laugh watching the young 'uns.

Far better than a lot of Glasgow's offerings.

just went for something to eat at lunchtime and it was horrible, chips were not cooked, and the burger was clearly microwaved, I complained and was met with an arrogant woman who just said "ok i will change it" she made me feel really awkward for complaining, when i said to the waitress that we hadnt been offered a drink yet she said and I quote "im too busy , you will have to ask someone else....I will not be back!!

The Grahmston really should work - it's in a very handy location for the shops and GLASGOW central station and inside it has a really cool long bar (traditional dark wood with carvings/engravings in it etc ) it has pretty good seating, wooden floors and an area at the back for a seat (sofas etc)and punters are for the most part ok and friendly. But for me at least, theres just no atmosphere at all - rarely more than half full on any given weekend and during the day it has about 10 folk in at most. The comment about folk standing at the door smoking is pretty true and not a good advert for the bar. Bar staff are very nice (last time I popped in there was only one barmaid to serve about 20 plus folk) and beer and spirit selections are ok. Overall worth popping in for a pint but not for a fun night at present.

Great bar inside, unfortunately they have a night time collection of drunk smokers outside who make most others unwelcome, best avoided at night.

During the day, this is a nice bar to sit and eat, chat or even listen to live music. However, on Friday and Saturday nights, a lack of proper stewarding means getting into it - or even past it - involves running a gauntlet of young drunks who stand outside to smoke and accost passersby. Until this problem is solved, it is best avoided at these times.
